2nd Distinguished School Honor
The Arroyo Vista PTA congratulates the students, teachers, staff and administrators of Arroyo Vista Middle School, which has been recognized by the State of California with the prestigious California Distinguished School Award for 2008-2009! The criteria are rigorous and a site visit by the State’s Distinguished School team validated Arroyo Vista’s application on Signature Practices in Education. This is Arroyo Vista’s second Distinguished School Award—Arroyo Vista Elementary earned the award in 2004—and is an example of excellence in education. ARROYO VISTA SAVES THE DAY!
The Care-and-Share team would like to take this opportunity to express our gratitude to each and every Wildcat for providing over 7,500 pounds of food and over five shopping carts of baby diapers, wipes, food and blankets for the 2008-2009 school year! This equates to over 15,000 meals! Our final collection last week included baby items for the Pantry in Mission San Juan Capistrano. When we delivered three shopping carts full of items, the pantry shelves for the large diapers and wipes were bare--you truly saved the day! Thank you for stretching yourselves during these tough economic times by giving more than ever to our community neighbors in need. The Warehouse Supervisor said he was going to miss Arroyo Vista's monthly giving over the summer months as they will be struggling without us. Be proud to be part of helping our community! Look for the Care-and-Share special collection over summer.

outside Elementary MPR 2:45-3:30
$1 each, limit 5 per person
The MPR will be completely emptied prior to SECOND SHOW, no seats will be "saved" from first show to second. You must have a ticket for the show you are attending.
